Front Body-Ying, Back Body-Yang

For this week’s company class, we re-visited our Embryotic self. Learning about the energy and layers that exist in our bodies and acknowledging them. The class has brought more awareness to our own body which would eventually benefit our performance, as well as the intention of movement.

I am a pokemon living in my own Pokeball. The only difference is I have layers and sections. My curious frontal Yin and my protective back Yang are put into use today. I didn’t know I had these energy and layers protecting me, but now I feel safe and comfortable to know that I do.

Somatic movement to relate the 2 layers

- 牵一发动全身

- 气韵反复循环,形成一个/甚至千个连环套

- 每个energy都有专属自己的通道,不会在其中一环断掉,一直循环flow


Greeting experience with front and back body:

Front body: 有一个目标,有drive去完成;脚步轻快却清楚脚下每一步踩哪里;人未到声先到;声音high pitch;言语间有很想表现的潜意识行为(手脚有附和动作)


Back body: 没有这么agressive地完成;脚步慢却没有比之前稳当,或许有一点散;感受到周围空间比较多(可能因为意识在后面?);语气音量比较平调,没有带这么多情绪波动,讲话时只有声音的表现


Question in my mind: front body是比较理智? 但是有时候觉得back body lead的时候我的body and mind state也是同时理性的,好像一种站出去看事情的角度。
